The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mibangon slips a straight right by Damian.
Damian connects with a body shot.
Terrell Damian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damian misses with a hook.
A looping hook to the body misses from Damian. Mibangon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mibangon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Damian.

Damian misses with a straight right.
Mibangon steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Damian stuffs the takedown attempt from Mibangon. Mibangon gets slowly back to his feet.

Mibangon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mibangon is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Damian is holding on to half guard well.
Damian is not content to let Mibangon control the position.
Damian tries to get to full guard but Mibangon has control of the leg.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Damian wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mibangon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Damian just misses with a punch to the body.

Damian drives through and clinches with Mibangon against the cage.
