The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champion lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Long closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ralph Long seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Long closes the distance and pushes Champion back into the cage.
Stalling in the clinch from Long.

Champion lands with a right to the head.
Champion lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Champion pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Long throws a series of punches but Champion moves out of range.
Champion connects with a jab.

Long closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Champion's guard.

Champion has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Long off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Champion lands a hook that stumbles Long back into the cage. Champion follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Long to the canvas! Champion pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Long has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
