Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Austin (ranked 23609 p4p, 2255 weight class) and Dalton Swas (ranked 546 p4p, 272 weight class). Dalton Swas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ron Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dalton Swas!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Austin.

Swas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Austin's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Swas working for the choke.
Swas is trying to stick to Austin's back but Austin is turning into Swas. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Swas's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Austin.
Austin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Swas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Swas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dalton Swas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Swas! Submission of the night perhaps?
