The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyrra takes one to the chin there.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hyrra.
Hyrra gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Bloomer counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Bloomer forces Hyrra back against the cage and clinches.

Hyrra breaks from the clinch.
The crowd cheers as Bloomer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hyrra doesn't seem phased though.

Bloomer digs a right hand underneath Hyrra's ribcage. Hyrra let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hyrra has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bloomer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Marcus Bloomer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matto Hyrra.

Hyrra in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bloomer tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hyrra!
