Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte tries a head kick but it misses.

Duarte takes the fight into the clinch.
A body shot lands from Duarte.
Hunter tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The referee calls for Duarte to work.
Hunter blocks a body shot from Duarte.

Duarte escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Duarte drives through and clinches with Hunter against the cage.

Duarte breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Duarte throws a head kick but Hunter moves out of range.
A nice combination there by Duarte.

It looks like Derek Hunter has been cut.
Duarte misses with a double jab.

Hunter moves into the clinch successfully.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Duarte breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Oooooh!!! Duarte has knocked Hunter down with a huge combo! Duarte steps away and waves a wobbly Hunter back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Hunter is rocked!

Hunter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Duarte, pushing him back against the cage.

Duarte is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hunter to keep the fight standing.

Duarte breaks from the clinch.
Duarte misses with a series of wild punches.
Duarte backing away here, and Hunter unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Hunter tries to close the distance and clinch but Duarte swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Duarte avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Duarte throws a big counter combination but Hunter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Hunter tries to clinch but Duarte moves out of range.
Duarte shoots in but no luck this time.

Hunter takes the fight into the clinch.
Duarte managing to block the knees to the body from Hunter.
Hunter is trying to maintain a safe position but Duarte gets an underhook and turns Hunter into the cage.
Hunter wants to take the fight to the mat but Duarte manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Duarte breaks from the clinch.
Hunter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duarte swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Duarte looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Hunter clinches with his opponent.

Hunter gets control of Duarte's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hunter will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Hunter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Duarte avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Duarte wants to stand but Hunter is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hunter is looking for a triangle but Duarte pushes his legs off easily.
Hunter has momentary wrist control but Duarte slips an elbow through the middle.

Hunter is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Duarte is aware though and is defending well.

Hunter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Duarte throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hunter.

Hunter blocks a head kick by Duarte.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Hunter clinches up against the cage.

Duarte tightens his grip and picks Hunter up, before dumping him to the ground. Hunter manages to land in guard.

Duarte knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hunter on the ground.

Duarte keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hunter's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hunter looking for a triangle here. Duarte is fighting it but it looks tight! Hunter pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Duarte is tapping out - this one is all over!
