Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Cardona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuhiro Ryohida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ryohida.
Cardona knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ryohida on the ground.

Ryohida is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cardona has escaped the position, nice work there.

Ryohida looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Cardona tries to improve position but can't.
Ryohida working the head and body with strikes.
Ryohida in side control, throwing shots but Cardona defends.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ryohida wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cardona, who protects the arm well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Ryohida working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Cardona turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ryohida off and cradles Cardona's limp body as Ryohida celebrates with his corner.
