Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Gomes (ranked 2298 p4p, 1611 weight class) and Slugger Dunes (ranked 318 p4p, 232 weight class). Gomes comes to the cage accompanied by Cheo Gallego - El Anciano y El NiÃ±o. Dunes has chosen The World's Greatest as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Slugger Dunes acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunes throws an off balance right hand
and Gomes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gomes tries for a takedown but Dunes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
It seemed like Dunes was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Dunes. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
