Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshi Yamaguchi!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamaguchi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Yamaguchi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Yamaguchi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jones punching from the bottom.
Yamaguchi is looking to advance position but Jones won't allow it.
Yamaguchi is looking for a kimura here.
Jones gets back to full guard.
Yamaguchi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Jones tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yamaguchi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Yamaguchi passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Jones!
Jones can't escape the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Jones in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Yamaguchi lands a heavy elbow.
Yamaguchi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jones is looking to escape.
Yamaguchi controlling the pace for now.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yamaguchi on the ground.
Yamaguchi looking to control but Jones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Yamaguchi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Yamaguchi forces the positional change into back control.
Yamaguchi struggling to keep hold of the position.
Yamaguchi is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jones has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Yamaguchi has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jones taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Yamaguchi doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Yoshi Yamaguchi!
