Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Babcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mister Gloves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Babcock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babcock tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gloves swivels and escapes.
Babcock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gloves was well out of range. Poor timing from Babcock.
Gloves circles away from the clinch attempt.
Babcock uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gloves.
Babcock closes the distance and clinches up with Gloves, looking for a takedown. Babcock pushes Gloves against the ropes but Gloves circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Babcock.
Babcock wants to control but Gloves is keeping him busy.
Babcock tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Gloves defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Babcock.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gloves can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gloves is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Babcock throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gloves because Babcock loaded up on that one.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Babcock working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Gloves turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Babcock off and cradles Gloves's limp body as Babcock celebrates with his corner.
