The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Machine half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Machine closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Adams's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Adams manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Machine is pressed up against the cage. Adams has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Machine down to the mat. Machine avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Machine bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Adams is pushing Machine's head away, looking to escape. Machine manages to hold on to the position though.
Machine cracks Adams with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Adams takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Adams has eaten all the pies!
Machine staying calm.
Adams on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big shot lands for Machine! That's hurt Adams! Will he recover? Machine fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
