The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sukarman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sukarman tries to get out of the position.

Ortega has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ortega pushes down on Sukarman's leg and manages to get into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ortega takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sukarman is rocked!
Ortega lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Sukarman quite badly. Sukarman pulls Ortega in close trying to recover. Ortega postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Sukarman on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Sukarman doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
