Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots for a takedown but Spiteri saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jackson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Spiteri is trying to defend but Jackson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jackson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The referee warns Spiteri that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Spiteri is squirming around, avoiding Jackson's attempts to control the action.
BOOM! Jackson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Manolito Spiteri showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
