Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pasha Geits!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kelemen Kabatban!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geits tries to bum rush Kabatban with a series of wild strikes but Kabatban uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A head kick misses from Kabatban.
Geits fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kabatban has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Geits shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kabatban as he avoids it easily.

Kabatban dives in and scores a takedown into Geits's guard.

Geits pushes Kabatban off and scrambles back to his feet.
Geits looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Geits with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Geits missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Geits is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Geits wants to control from the top but Kabatban keeps moving.
Kabatban really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Geits. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Geits creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kabatban sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Geits tries for a kimura but Kabatban is defending well.

Geits looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kabatban parries the strikes from Geits easily there. Geits is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kabatban to escape.
Geits in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Geits has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Geits looking to finish Kabatban with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kabatban!

Geits landing strikes, looking to finish!
Kabatban looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kabatban is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Geits cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Geits has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kabatban's face.

Geits can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kabatban is looking to escape.
Geits is in the full mount, landing strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Geits is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kabatban can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Geits throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kabatban because Geits loaded up on that one.

It looks like Kelemen Kabatban has been cut.
Kabatban is squirming around, avoiding Geits's attempts to control the action.

Geits looking to control but Kabatban is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Geits moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

That has opened up Kelemen Kabatban's cut even more.
Kabatban throws a series of punches but Geits moves out of range.

Geits is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kabatban can do to turn this around?
Kabatban takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The cut above Kelemen Kabatban's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kabatban chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Geits can pounce on him.
Kabatban takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Geits scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Geits takes the fight into the clinch.

Kabatban is breathing heavily.
Geits looking to pass the guard.
Geits will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kabatban utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Geits scoring with punches to the head and body.
Geits is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Geits has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Geits tries to free his leg and advance position but Kabatban is retaining full guard.

Kabatban gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Geits.

Geits breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Geits lands with a big right hook that stumbles Kabatban - he's out on his feet here! Geits follows up with another monster hook that separates Kabatban from consciousness! Kabatban falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Geits stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
