Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ameen Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Silva at a distance.
Robertson punishes Silva's body with a nice straight punch.
Robertson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Robertson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Robertson lands with a good body shot.
Robertson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Robertson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Silva has time to react.

It looks like Eduardo Silva has been cut.

Silva takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Robertson connects with a body shot that sends Silva's belly button to the back.
Silva is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silva takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Robertson counters with a nice right hand that sends Silva toppling to the canvas! Silva scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Robertson finish him?!

Silva is rocked!
Robertson finds Silva's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Silva flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Robertson lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Silva will be OK.
