Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phoenix Peterson (ranked 4938 p4p, 5476 weight class) and Larry Lewandowski (ranked 531 p4p, 561 weight class). Peterson comes to the cage accompanied by Red Nation. Lewandowski has chosen Welcome to Bavaria! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson just misses with a punch to the body.
Lewandowski's coach down at LAVA Core Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lewandowski's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Peterson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lewandowski moves away.
Despite the aggression on Lewandowski's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
