Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chetnik Borg Eleven (ranked 2522 p4p, 1943 weight class) and Dmitry Boytsov (ranked 360 p4p, 275 weight class). Borg Eleven comes to the cage accompanied by The Borg; resistance is futile. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borg Eleven moves away from the strike by Boytsov.
It appears Borg Eleven was looking to counter with a kick there.
Borg Eleven throws a big shot that misses.
Boytsov looks to land a left hand but Borg Eleven moved out of range nicely.
Borg Eleven is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boytsov.

Boytsov tries to pull guard but Borg Eleven holds him up against the cage and eventually Boytsov drops back down to his feet.

Borg Eleven is trying to trip Boytsov. He has hold of a leg but Boytsov is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Borg Eleven persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Borg Eleven connects with a nice short shot to Boytsov's temple.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Borg Eleven has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Boytsov regains guard immediately.

Boytsov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Borg Eleven can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Boytsov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Borg Eleven defends it easily.

Borg Eleven got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boytsov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Borg Eleven has managed to get both his arms back between Boytsov's legs - danger averted.

Boytsov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Borg Eleven doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Borg Eleven manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Borg Eleven is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boytsov can do to turn this around?

Borg Eleven keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Borg Eleven and the ref steps in to end the fight! Borg Eleven can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Chetnik Borg Eleven decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
