Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Furriel (ranked 1237 p4p, 1551 weight class) and Jacques Bollomard (ranked 177 p4p, 212 weight class). Bollomard has chosen LE RODEUR (SPES INVICTA Remix) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacques Bollomard!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Furriel is predictable there

and Bollomard counters with a shoot takedown. Furriel fights it but they end up in guard.
Furriel pulls Bollomard in close to his closed guard and prevents Bollomard from doing any damage or advancing position.

Furriel has his foot on Bollomard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bollomard works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Furriel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bollomard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Furriel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Furriel lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Bollomard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Furriel is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bollomard has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Furriel is looking to defend but Bollomard has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Furriel! Bollomard pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Furriel taps out and this one is all over!

After winning the bout, Jacques Bollomard thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
