The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Donnamer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Donnamer decides to take the fight back to the feet.
No joy there for Griffin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Donnamer shoots in looking for a takedown. Griffin tries to sprawl out of it but Donnamer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Griffin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Griffin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Donnamer closes the distance and clinches.

Donnamer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Griffin can't fight it off and eventually Donnamer manages to take the fight to the floor. Griffin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Donnamer passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Griffin drops Donnamer with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Donnamer! Griffin dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
