The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Letter closes the distance and clinches.

Letter has Mamontov pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Letter pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mamontov tumbling to the mat - Letter dives into Mamontov's guard.

Mamontov is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Letter has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Mamontov gets his hands free as Letter looks to control.
You can see the frustration on Letter's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Mamontov is working for an americana but Letter has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Mamontov was thinking about the submission.
