In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 4 losses; Scott Hall! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 6 losses; Klay Dee!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hall is trying to drag Dee to the mat but Dee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hall is pressed up against the cage. Dee has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hall down to the mat. Hall avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Dee looks winded!

Hall looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Hall has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Dee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hall wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hall is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The referee asks Hall politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hall prefers to stall for the moment though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Hall is stinking the place up with his stalling.

Hall seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dee for as long as he can get away with.

Hall continues to stall.
Dee regains half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dee is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Hall wants to pass to mount but Dee is defending the position.
Hall perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Hall content to control rather than advance.

Dee is concentrating on defense, preventing Hall from advancing position.

Dee is controlling an arm, preventing Hall from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
