The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edvall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Finlitis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Finlitis is stalling here. Edvall is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Finlitis seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Edvall has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Finlitis is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Edvall can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Finlitis tries to control but Edvall wriggling away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rune Edvall will probably get the nod.

Finlitis is looking for a sweep. Edvall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Edvall is working for a kimura but Finlitis is defending it quite comfortably.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Finlitis is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Edvall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Edvall takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rune Edvall.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Edvall, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
