Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between KJ Hoodwell (ranked 3917 p4p, 24676 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoodwell closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Salvacion's guard.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hoodwell is defended easily by Salvacion.

Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown. Hoodwell tries to sprawl out of it but Salvacion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hoodwell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Salvacion takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Hoodwell's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
