Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Silva (ranked 1286 p4p, 485 weight class) and Qing Wu (ranked 175 p4p, 71 weight class). Qing Wu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jackson Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Qing Wu!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wu throws a hook but Silva blocks it.
A cross from Wu lands.
It looks like Jackson Silva has been cut.
Jackson Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Wu wants to hold on but Silva pushes him away.
Silva looking for a guillotine from mount but Wu is having none of it.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wu is looking to escape.
Silva throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Wu because Silva loaded up on that one.
Silva swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wu is now in Silva's guard. A big mistake from Silva there, giving up the dominant position!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wu has picked Silva up and slammed him! Silva can't keep hold of the triangle and Wu manages to pass to side control!
Wu has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Goya - 🥊 MMA Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Silva definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wu slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Silva might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wu has control of Silva's left arm, preventing Silva from doing any damage.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wu swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wu can do anything to dispel that myth.

Silva has gone for a leg lock! Wu slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jackson Silva will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silva looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jackson Silva overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Silva has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wu is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Silva.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Qing Wu.
I think Wu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
