Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olo Adofo (ranked 3375 p4p, 3666 weight class) and Seiji Tanikawa (ranked 415 p4p, 437 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Adofo, as that shot connected.

It looks like Seiji Tanikawa has been cut.
Tanikawa misses with a body kick.
Tanikawa throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tanikawa misses with the combination.
An inside leg kick lands from Adofo.
Tanikawa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Adofo.
Tanikawa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tanikawa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Seiji Tanikawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tanikawa feints a jab promting Adofo to slip. Tanikawa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Adofo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Adofo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Adofo feints and then cracks Tanikawa's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tanikawa down.

The cut above Seiji Tanikawa's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Tanikawa is aggressively charging in as Adofo backs up avoiding any damage. Adofo tosses out a jab and Tanikawa runs right into it face first! Tanikawa is out cold! Adofo dropped down on all fours and is barking in Tanikawa's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Olo Adofo!
