The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuragari drives through and clinches with Guo against the cage.

Guo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kuragari uses from the top position.

Kuragari wants to get back to his feet but Guo is dominant here and he's now got Kuragari's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kuragari is covering up but some of the strikes from Guo are getting through and doing damage.

I would not like to be Kuragari right now.
You can see the frustration on Kuragari's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Guo controlling the position well here. Kuragari rolled but Guo kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Kuragari is trying to defend against the choke here but Guo has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Guo Tightens the hold and Kuragari taps out furiously! Guo displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
