Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Handler (ranked 1804 p4p, 1592 weight class) and Kakashi Hataki (ranked 240 p4p, 219 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handler has his takedown stuffed
and Hataki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Handler lands a nice looking body shot.
Hataki is looking to clinch but Handler is avoiding it.
Handler drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hataki sprawls and moves away.
The fighters circling - Hataki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Handler throws a body shot but no joy.
Handler avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hataki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Handler closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Hataki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hataki is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Handler off and has taken his back!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hataki is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Handler knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Handler for a finish.
Handler turns into Hataki and is now in his guard.

Hataki has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Handler doesn't defend quickly enough and Hataki has managed to lock this one up! Can Handler escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hataki on a fantastic submission victory.
