Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sophus Antias (ranked 4427 p4p, 5999 weight class) and Lysander Pollio (ranked 449 p4p, 548 weight class). Antias comes to the cage accompanied by Bro hymn. Pollio has chosen I'd Love To Knock The Hell Out Of You as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antias shoots in for a double leg but Pollio sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

It looks like Sophus Antias has been cut.

Pollio changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Pollio throws a shot from downtown. Antias moves away and avoids it.

Antias takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Lysander Pollio has been cut.
Antias throws a body shot but no joy.

Antias bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Antias wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pollio keeps working.
Pollio tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Antias wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pollio can do anything to dispel that myth.

Antias looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Pollio misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Antias avoids the strikes from the bottom by Pollio.
Pollio tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Pollio throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Nice sprawl there from Pollio as Antias shoots in.
Antias lands a two punch combo.
Pollio waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Antias.
Pollio misses with a straight left.
Pollio misses with a few strikes there.
Antias works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Antias wants to clinch up but Pollio keeps it at a distance.

Antias lands a jab to the nose.
Antias lands a glancing blow to the side of Pollio's head.

That has opened up Lysander Pollio's cut even more.

Pollio darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Antias has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Pollio. Oh but Antias has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Pollio goes limp - he's gone! Antias jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
