Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Blikstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jun Liu!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blikstein tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Liu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nice defenses there by Blikstein.
Liu looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

enabling Blikstein to counter with a crisp jab.
Blikstein walks into a straight right hand from Liu.
Blikstein bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A quick step to the side and Blikstein tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Liu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blikstein was well out of range. Poor timing from Liu.

Blikstein feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The crowd cheers as Liu lands an impressive looking overhand right. Blikstein doesn't seem phased though.

Blikstein works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Jun Liu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Liu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
