Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Brent (ranked 2097 p4p, 6068 weight class) and Raymond King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brent kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ladies and Gentlemen. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymond King!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Darius Henderson and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with a two punch combination.
Brent is looking to counter punch.
Brent scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A combination from King does no damage.
King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brent moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Raymond King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King throws a right and a left that both miss.
King lands a high kick!

It looks like David Brent has been cut.

and Brent counters with a right hand to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brent, as that shot connected.

It looks like Raymond King has been cut.
King takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
This has been an exciting period of action!
King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

King moves into range and clinches up with Brent.

Brent successfully pulls guard.
Brent is pulling down on King's head to control his posture.
King wants to control from the top but Brent keeps moving.
Brent seems keen to control King's posture.

That's one minute gone in the round.

King is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Brent has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. King is looking to defend but Brent has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for King! Brent pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, King taps out and this one is all over!
