The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Reyna, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mendivil uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reyna.

Reyna gets caught flat footed, as Mendivil shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mendivil wants to control from the top but Reyna keeps moving.
Reyna knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mendivil on the ground.

Mendivil decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
