The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Muniz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Muniz drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Avangyan defends it well.
Arman Avangyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Avangyan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Muniz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Avangyan pulls his head out easily.

Avangyan lands a big shot there that rocks Muniz but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Avangyan postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Muniz badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Avangyan around the waist but Avangyan pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Avangyan is the winner by TKO! Avangyan jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

In his post fight interview, Arman Avangyan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
