Cartwright comes to the cage accompanied by Mauled. Muchy Cartwright could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Diamond Hand's chin.

Cartwright has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hand is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cartwright.

Hand got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cartwright has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hand has managed to get both his arms back between Cartwright's legs - danger averted.

Cartwright changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hand tries to avoid it but Cartwright manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hand to the ground. Hand escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Horrible takedown attempt by Cartwright or perhaps it was just good defense by Hand, which made it look bad.
Hand scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cartwright doesn't seem bothered though.

Hand steps in with a hook that catches Cartwright right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Hand follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Cartwright looks absolutely devastated.
