Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevon Artell (ranked 4207 p4p, 4201 weight class) and Max Termassus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kevon Artell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Termassus!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Artell misses with a double jab.
Artell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Termassus doesn't seem bothered though.
Artell connects with a looping right hand.
Artell lands with an uppercut that bounces Termassus off the cage and back into range.
Artell fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Artell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And Termassus tries to counter it with a takedown but Artell pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Artell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Artell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Artell throws a body punch but Termassus moves out of range.
Artell slips a jab from Termassus.

Artell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Artell fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Termassus is out of range.
Artell throws a body shot but no joy.

Kevon Artell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Artell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Artell is looking to wear down Termassus with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Termassus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Artell wants to control but Termassus is keeping busy.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Termassus connects with a nice short shot to Artell's temple.
Termassus winds up and cracks Artell with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Artell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Termassus is working away from the top position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Termassus takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Artell is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Termassus scores with a couple of nice shots.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Termassus lands a nice short elbow.
Artell tries to get to full guard but Termassus has control of the leg.
Termassus is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Artell is breathing heavily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Termassus takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Termassus lands a heavy elbow.
Termassus postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Artell badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Termassus around the waist but Termassus pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Termassus is the winner by TKO! Termassus jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Termassus!
