Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conor The Barbarian (ranked 48 p4p, 68 weight class) and Cedric De Boise (ranked 9 p4p, 12 weight class). De Boise has chosen Do Your Thing as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Cedric De Boise!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Boise slips under a jab from The Barbarian.
The Barbarian throws a hook but De Boise blocks it.
The Barbarian jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A telegraphed right hand from The Barbarian misses the target.
De Boise throws out a counter right but The Barbarian avoids it with no problem.
De Boise throws a front kick that sends The Barbarian stumbling back into the cage.
The Barbarian is looking to chop away at De Boise's legs.
De Boise has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A lazy left from De Boise finds it's target.

It looks like Conor The Barbarian has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Boise scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The Barbarian displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as De Boise throws out the jab.
The Barbarian is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

De Boise lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The Barbarian throws a lazy right hand but De Boise sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
De Boise lands a nice leg kick that just misses The Barbarian's sensitive parts.
De Boise looks for the body kick but The Barbarian saw that one coming.
De Boise lands a glancing blow to the side of The Barbarian's head.

The Barbarian lands a big head kick that sends De Boise tumbling to the mat! The Barbarian takes a step backwards and waves De Boise back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Cedric De Boise has been cut.
The Barbarian looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

De Boise has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from The Barbarian finds it's way round the side to connect with De Boise's head.

and De Boise counters with a body kick that stops The Barbarian in his tracks momentarily.
The Barbarian uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before De Boise has time to react.

De Boise clinches.
The Barbarian swings away with an uppercut that misses.
De Boise digs a right hand underneath The Barbarian's ribcage. The Barbarian let out a lung full of air as it connected.
The Barbarian has had enough of the clinch but De Boise keeps him there for the moment.
De Boise struggles to land a body shot inside as The Barbarian controls his hands.
The Barbarian tries to land a knee to the head but De Boise blocks with his arms.
De Boise tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
The Barbarian blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
De Boise tries to throw a body punch but The Barbarian avoids it by throwing De Boise back against the cage.
Still in the clinch, De Boise scores with a nice short uppercut.

Conor The Barbarian's cut is getting worse.

The Barbarian manages to break the clinch.
The Barbarian needs to keep his hands up - De Boise had a free shot at his head there.

The Barbarian uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by De Boise.
De Boise throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling The Barbarian to counter with a crisp jab.
De Boise ducks under a wild hook from The Barbarian.
The Barbarian throws an overhand right that lands on De Boise's shoulder, as De Boise tries to avoid the shot.
De Boise scores with a hook to the body. The Barbarian takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
De Boise bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A jab from The Barbarian misses.
De Boise flicks out a counter leg kick but The Barbarian steps away.
De Boise misses with a low kick.
The Barbarian cracks De Boise with a good jab.
The Barbarian swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The Barbarian takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Conor The Barbarian's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
A low kick from The Barbarian is predictable there
and De Boise counters with a thumping low kick.
De Boise takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Some bone on bone action there as The Barbarian checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
The Barbarian connects with the punch.
No joy there for The Barbarian, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
De Boise thinks about the counter body kick.
De Boise lands with a right hand.
The Barbarian cracks De Boise with a right hand to the side of the head.
De Boise is looking to slow The Barbarian down with leg kicks.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Cedric De Boise will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Back to the action!

De Boise tries to score with a low kick but The Barbarian moves his leg out of the way.
De Boise ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The Barbarian scores with a nice strike.
The Barbarian walks into a jab.
De Boise blocks a jab.

Jeez, Conor The Barbarian's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

and De Boise counters with a stiff right hand.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Conor The Barbarian's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
