Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between A Bokito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bokito comes to the cage accompanied by Let the Bodies hit the floor. Frank Abbott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bokito fails to land with a series of punches.
Abbott swats away the attempt to clinch by Bokito.
Abbott throws a right and a left that Bokito avoids nicely.

Bokito shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Abbott is trying to maintain the position but Bokito is very close to passing his half guard.

Abbott actively working from the bottom here.
Bokito slips a nice elbow through Abbott's hands, connecting with Abbott's forehead.
Bokito tries to pass the half guard into mount. Abbott knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Bokito keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Abbott's head.

Abbott had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bokito is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Abbott Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bokito's back instead.

Bokito manages to reverse the position and now he's in Abbott's guard. Nice work there by Bokito.
Bokito chips away with some ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bokito's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bokito stays in close to Abbott's body and controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bokito avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Abbott looks gassed!

Bokito seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bokito cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Abbott tries to reverse the position but Bokito maintains control.

Abbott kicks off Bokito and gets to his feet.
Abbott paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Abbott throws a good cross that connects.
A punch lands to the side of Bokito 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bokito fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bokito takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bokito has managed to clinch.
Abbott can't break the clinch.
Abbott is trying to break free.

Bokito tightens his grip and picks Abbott up, before dumping him to the ground. Abbott manages to land in guard.

Bokito decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Abbott, up you get!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bokito tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Abbott swivels and escapes.
Abbott moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Abbott gets caught flat footed, as Bokito shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Bokito tries to free his leg and advance position but Abbott is retaining full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bokito shoots in looking for a takedown. Abbott tries to sprawl out of it but Bokito keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Abbott manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bokito looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bokito uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Abbott.
Abbott clobbers Bokito with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Bokito shoots in and drives through. Abbott sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for A Bokito. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bokito tries to close the distance and clinch up but Abbott swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bokito shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Abbott pinned against the cage. Abbott gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bokito accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Abbott takes Bokito's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Bokito is in trouble.

Abbott is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Bokito with him. Bokito is trying to defend but Abbott has an arm under the chin now! Bokito grimaces and is forced to tap out!
