The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Araujo tries to move to full mount but Gerbandi actually manages to regain half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Araujo in particular looking to stall.

Araujo is looking to take a break and control but Gerbandi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Araujo is just content to waste time from the top position. Gerbandi takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gerbandi is on top in guard.

Araujo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gerbandi has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Araujo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gerbandi is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Araujo pulls down on the head and he's put Gerbandi to sleep! This one is all over!
