Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dani Herc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrique Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales misses with a takedown attempt - Herc sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Herc moves into the clinch.
Knees to the body from Herc.

Morales wants a takedown but no success here.

Herc breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Morales tries to keep at a distance but Herc has taken the fight into the clinch.

Herc works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morales uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Morales shoots in for a double leg but Herc sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Morales looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Herc throws a head kick that Morales semi-blocks.

Herc jumps into guard, dragging Morales to the mat.

Morales drops back looking for a leg! Herc is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Herc manages to kick Morales off! Morales jumps back into Herc's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Herc has taken the fight to the clinch.
Morales tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Morales changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Herc fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Herc drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Herc tries to stand but Morales is controlling his head.
Morales tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Herc wants to stand but Morales is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morales regains half guard.

Herc is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Herc wants to take a breather but Morales is having none of it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Herc pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Morales wants to control but Herc is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Morales utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Morales is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Morales is looking to sinch up a triangle. Herc throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Morales's body to avoid the submission. Morales has instead reached around Herc's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Morales arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
