Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bass Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Duncan's choice of entrance music: Haka . I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Duncan throws a lazy right hand but Rutten sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Rutten instigates a clinch.
Duncan stops a takedown attempt from Rutten.
Rutten could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rutten tries a body shot but Duncan blocks it.

It looks like Bass Rutten has been cut.
Duncan is pushing Rutten up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Duncan is keen to just control but Rutten is a slippery customer.

Jeez, Bass Rutten's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls for Duncan to work.
Rutten tries for a takedown but Duncan manages to get underhooks.

Duncan digs a right hand into Rutten's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rutten's gas tank.
