The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boles avoids a punch combination nicely.
Crash feints a jab promting Boles to slip. Crash then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Boles slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Crash throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Crash rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Boles counters with a nice uppercut.
Boles looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crash works Boles's body with a nice hook.
Crash misses with a series of wild punches.

Crash stuns Boles with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Crash moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Boles showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Crash.
Boles swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Boles uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crash.

Crash goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Crash punishes Boles's body with a nice straight punch.

Joey Crash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crash throws a series of punches but Boles avoids them all with ease.
Crash just misses with a punch to the body.
Crash throws a right hand that Boles ducks under and follows up with a left that Boles also avoids with ease.
Boles was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Crash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boles was well out of range. Poor timing from Crash.

Crash shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Boles eats them both and turns towards Crash to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Crash swings for the body but Boles moves out of range.
Crash throws a nice looking combination but Boles bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Boles swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Crash throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Boles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
