The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kape fails with the takedown.
Kape scores with a sloppy right hand. Linderman should have avoided that one.

It looks like Mat Linderman has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Linderman pulls guard successfully.
Kape wants to pass the guard but Linderman is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Linderman is trying to control the position but Kape postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Linderman tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kape.

Linderman is rocked!

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kape's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Linderman is still in real trouble! Can Kape finish him?
Kape postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Kape gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Kape shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Kape slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Kape lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
