The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from de Jong.
de Jong wants to land a leg kick but Carnage is out of range.

Carnage has de Jong up against the cage in a clinch.
Carnage lands a nice knee to the body.

Carnage breaks from the clinch.
de Jong avoids a punch combination nicely.
Carnage feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to de Jong's calf.
de Jong looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
de Jong tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Carnage counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends de Jong down! Carnage is looking to finish but de Jong is intelligently defending himself.

Carnage stands up over de Jong, holding on to his feet. Carnage throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! de Jong is out cold! Carnage lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
