Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between War Turtle (ranked 4532 p4p, 4945 weight class) and Callum Cartwright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Turtle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pumping and Humping. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Callum Cartwright!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright cracks Turtle with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like War Turtle has been cut.

Turtle tries to counter with a takedown but Cartwright is quick to defend against it.

Turtle darts in and clinches Cartwright up against the cage.

Turtle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cartwright swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Turtle pushes down on Cartwright's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Cartwright looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Turtle is trying to work for a kimura but Cartwright is defending well.
Turtle is looking to take a break and control but Cartwright is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Turtle is pressing down on Cartwright's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cartwright is holding on for now.

Turtle is looking for a kimura but Cartwright is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Turtle to get the leverage.
Cartwright tries to kick Turtle off but Turtle keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Turtle is trying to control. Cartwright wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Cartwright is in trouble now - Turtle has advanced to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turtle wants to finish this one by submission but Cartwright is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Turtle.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cartwright can do anything to dispel that myth.
