PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mangas Coloradas (ranked 1880 p4p, 2746 weight class) and Joey Chandler (ranked 238 p4p, 341 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joey Chandler was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joey Chandler!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler throws a body shot but no joy.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Chandler.

Chandler closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Coloradas to the mat! Coloradas manages to get full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chandler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Coloradas sprawls well initially but Chandler persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Chandler is nestled in close to Coloradas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
