Edwards's entrance music is Damian Marley - Road to Zion. A fine choice. Rohith Sharma is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Sharma lands an impressive looking overhand right. Edwards doesn't seem phased though.
Sharma takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Sharma is looking to clinch but Edwards is avoiding it.

Sharma's coach down at Crapollas Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sharma's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Edwards displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sharma throws out the jab.
Sharma thows a left - swing and a miss!
Edwards was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edwards throws an overhand right that lands on Sharma's shoulder, as Sharma tries to avoid the shot.
Sharma throws a hook to the side of Edwards's head but Edwards sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Edwards fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sharma manages to avoid it.
Sharma doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Sharma looks to score with a jab to the body but Edwards is just out of range.

Sharma clobbers Edwards with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sharma lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Edwards throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Edwards is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Edwards lands a big head kick that sends Sharma tumbling to the mat! Edwards takes a step backwards and waves Sharma back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sharma looks to land a combination but Edwards avoids it well.

Edwards cracks Sharma with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sharma looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Edwards finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Edwards counters with a huge right that knocks Sharma out cold! Edwards is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
