The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers walks into a left hand.
Carwin lands with a straight right. Chambers didn't see that one coming.
Carwin clobbers Chambers with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Chambers drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Chambers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Carwin, who protects the arm well.

Chambers shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carwin's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Carwin connects with a nice short shot to Chambers's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Carwin in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Chambers looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Carwin turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
