Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forest Griffen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Briston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bryan Briston was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Briston or perhaps it was just good defense by Griffen which made him look bad.
Griffen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Briston moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Briston misses with an attempted mid kick.
Briston looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Griffen is fending him off so far but Briston persists. Nope, Griffen circles away and we're back to standing.

Briston darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Briston prevents Griffen from standing back up.
Griffen is not content to let Briston control the position.

Griffen is in trouble now - Briston has advanced to mount!
Briston lands a nice shot to the head.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Briston lands a big shot there that rocks Griffen but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Briston throws some wild stikes that Griffen manages to avoid easily.

Briston lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Briston loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Griffen scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Briston land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Briston stands and salutes the crowd.
