Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oke Swahn (ranked 679 p4p, 540 weight class) and Jamil Hurst (ranked 105 p4p, 81 weight class). Hurst has chosen Keep Their Heads Ringin' as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Oke Swahn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamil Hurst!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Hurst misses
and Swahn counters with a stiff right hand.
Swahn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hurst.
Swahn is looking to counter with a body kick.

Swahn throws a hook but Hurst avoids it easily.
Swahn walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hurst comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A little feinted left hand from Swahn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hurst has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Jamil Hurst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hurst tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Swahn was well out of range. Poor timing from Hurst.

Swahn throws a lazy uppercut
and Hurst connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hurst misses with a body shot
letting Swahn counter with a right hand.
Swahn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Swahn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hurst.
Oke Swahn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hurst will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Swahn thinks about countering with a head kick.
Hurst misses with a jab to the body
and Swahn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Swahn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Swahn avoids the body shot from Hurst.
Swahn is looking to counter punch.

Hurst throws a looping overhand right but Swahn ducks down to avoid it.
Hurst tries for a takedown but Swahn circles away easily
and Hurst takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hurst misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Swahn counters with a stiff right hand.
Hurst is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Swahn counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
