Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Asakura (ranked 1651 p4p, 2015 weight class) and Ryo Hamada (ranked 220 p4p, 269 weight class). Asakura comes to the cage accompanied by JJBA - Giorno's Theme. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Asakura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryo Hamada!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asakura tries to clinch there but Hamada circles away.
Hamada looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hamada dives in and scores a takedown into Asakura's guard.

Hamada postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Asakura is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hamada, into his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Asakura got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hamada has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Asakura has managed to get both his arms back between Hamada's legs - danger averted.
