The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kruger slips under a jab.

and Kruger counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

It looks like Marcus Johnson has been cut.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kruger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kruger unloads with some shots from mount but Johnson bucks and avoids them well.

That has opened up Marcus Johnson's cut even more.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big strike lands for Kruger! That's really hurt Johnson and he's turned his back - Kruger keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kruger jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
