Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 36 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Sight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Krisko Kurtev!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sight tries to bum rush Kurtev with a series of wild strikes but Kurtev uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kurtev clinches up against the cage.
Sight is trying to break free.

Sight manages to break the clinch.
Sight lands a nice hook to Kurtev's body. Kurtev takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sight connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kurtev momentarily.
Sight lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sight.
Kurtev slips under a jab.
Kurtev shoots in but no luck this time.
Kurtev fails to land the takedown.

Kurtev moves into the clinch.
Kurtev tries to score a body lock takedown but Sight shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Paul Sight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krisko Kurtev.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kurtev.

Kurtev has picked Sight up - he's going for a ride! Kurtev dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Kurtev thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kurtev thows a huge punch but Sight dodges it nicely.
Kurtev wants to control but Sight is keeping him busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sight looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kurtev uses his free foot to push down on Sight's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sight.
Kurtev looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Kurtev lands a nice shot to the head.
Kurtev cracks Sight with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kurtev has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sight's face.
Kurtev looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Sight covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krisko Kurtev!
